Beneath the skies of endless grey,
A man set forth one fateful day.
With heart aglow, no map in hand,
He walked into the promised land.
At first, the path felt kind and clear,
With laughs to share and friends held dear.
They swapped their dreams, built trust so tight,
It felt like life was set just right.
But shadows move where light once shone,
And trust can break, leaving you alone.
A handshake turned to a knife in his back,
Heartbreak hit, the world turned black.
He stumbled on, his spirit torn,
A phoenix weeping, yet reborn.
Through lessons learned and scars to keep,
He found the strength where shadows creep.
Yet the good days faded, challenges grew,
What once was bright turned cold and blue.
He climbed to peaks, only to crash,
Rock bottom met him with every smash.
He rose again, though weaker each time,
Carrying grit like it was a crime.
The laughter was gone, the joy faded in,
But something inside refused to give in.
And still, the falls kept dragging him low,
Deeper than he'd ever thought he'd go.
Despair held tight; it whispered, "Stop",
But even then, he thought to give it, one more shot.
On shaky legs, with nothing to prove,
He found the strength to simply move.
No grand finale, no finish line,
Just one more step, then another in time.
But the future looms, a canvas bare,
Blue and purple dancing there.
A journey ends, another begins,
The threads of fate weave mighty spins.
Will he hold on, his flame alright,
Through shifting skies of day and night?
Or will the blue burn low and fade,
As destiny's hand holds or mislaid?
